Salston Manor - May 2007

Our annual visit to Salston Manor

Our now annual visit to Salston Manor attracted a good turn out - First lets see some action photots of the group en-route......

Here the group stop en-route for a quick break.

As 'regular customers' the group took over the hotel for the weekend

The weather looks good here but you see that most of the cars have their hoods up - we've just had a shower!

There was the obligatory convoy run through the twisting country lanes to see the beautiful countryside - just hope there weren't any tractors coming the other way!

A new event for this year was a trip on a horse drawn boat

He may not win any races but I wouldn't want him to stand on my foot (and that goes for the horse as well!)

What an idyllic scene! Gently floating along through the quiet countryside.

So what were the fancy dress themes this year?.... Doctors and Nurses..

....Cops and Robbers....

..and Vicars and Tarts. I'm sure Freud would have something to say about these choices!!!

Still when they get to dinner, the Cops and Robbers seem to be getting on well.

The doctors and nurses, as ever committed to their patients, decided to bring their work home with them!

The Vicars and Tarts were obviously here to discuss deeply spiritual matters!!

...and a final photo opportunity with everyone in their fancy dress. Another great success and thanks to the organisers. Same time next year???
