Normandy, September 2008

A group of intrepid members took their cars for a trip to Normandy. Here's what they got up to.

Here they are waiting to get onto the train for the crossing.

Driving across the Pont Du Normandy with Chris and Andy in front.

Waiting to go to Bayeux to see the tapestry which is 70 metres long and tells the story of William, Duke of Normandy.

Here they are 'regrouping' on the way to Caen.

Leaving Houlgate and saying goodbye to some of the group who were going back to the UK

A quick stop for lunch and some coffee.

A long walk along the cliffs took about 3 hours - a change from driving

Lunch in Saint-Valery Sur-Somme before a ride on a steam train

This is Eu, a small village where they had a nice walk and some lunch.

The last dinner at Marie-Claire.

Terry trying to get all Pat's clothes and shoes back in the TR!

This is where they stayed in Etalondes.

And one final photocall before returning to the UK.
