Take one fairly grotty engine....

Strip it down and start cleaning up the insides

And as if by magic - a nice clean new engine

Thats what we are aiming at....

Now what springs shall I fit?

Better make sure they aren't bent
|

Clean up the studs
|
|
And the push rods
|
|
....Drill some bits out
|
|
....Clean up the head
|
|
...make sure the valve seats are good
|
|
..and don't forget the crank bearings
|
|
Thats all cleaned up and ready to go
|
|
...and the bottom (if you'll pardon the expression)
|
|
And its all ready to be installed
|
|
Now doesn't that look good
