Brittany - September 2011

This years trip took the club to Brittany. They took in plenty of the local sites and seemed to spend a lot of time in various bars and restaurants. From the pictures below you can see that everyone had a great time and they are already planning the 2012 trip!

The trip over saw the cars on a 'mezzanine' floor of the ferry...

The next few pictures show some of the places they visited during the week

All aboard for a train ride around the local area....

..to see amongst other things a field full of stones - very druidic!

I'm not sure they need a tank outside to guard the croissants!

No trip to the area would be complete without a visit to the historic war sites. Here we are at Pegasus Bridge.

The time has come for the traditional photoshoot. They managed to find some parking at the side of the road ....

..and Terry manage to persuade one of the locals to let them take pictures from his balcony!

They then moved to another car park where first the boys......

... and then the girls posed for photos with the cars.

You can't say people don't lavish care on their cars. Mike's hardtop had a bedroom of its own!....

...and Nigel managed to find the only undercover space for his TR!

And so to food. From the pictures taken it seems that the group spent most of their time eating or drinking

Well it is a holiday and calories don't count when you're on holiday do they?

Any suggestions for a caption???

Mike J seems happy enough sitting on a rock

Meanwhile Terry takes the opportunity to write a few postacrds home

Mike B as usual is involved in some detailed technical discussion - any suggestions as to what he is saying?

All I can say is if you must come in an MG.......

Ernie climbs a tree to get a better shot

and some more budding David Bailey's...

....take those pictures to remind them of a great holiday

And finally the cars queue up for the ferry home. An enjoyable week - can we have a rest now!
