Here are some of the events being planned for 2012. Keep an eye out as more details are published.

Quiz Night, Shepherd and Dog

18th February

Triumph Eastern are hosting a quiz night on Saturday 18th February 2012 and the Essex TR Group have been offered two tables of 8 contestants. Numbers are limited so it's a first come first served basis. If you are interested let Steve Tant know asap.

Last year it was 19.00 for a 19.30 kick off, the cost is £10/head which includes supper, drinks are available from the bar.

Historic Video Evening, Shepherd and Dog

28th February

Something of a tradition now. Come along and see some of the films made in those halcyon days of the british sports car - political incorrectness and all.

Group AGM - Shepherd and Dog

27th March

Essex Group AGM at the Shepherd and Dog. Come and find out what the committee have been doing on your behalf. Why not volunteer to join them?

Dyno test Day, Rayleigh

14th April

The committee are proposing a dyno test day and Steve Tant would like an idea of numbers who are interested, we need a minimum of 10 cars. Speed Racing, based in Rayleigh, offer a club day discounted to £40/car for 3 runs with prints outs showing torque/bhp etc.

Laon Weekend

11th - 14th May

The Group are planning a trip to Laon. Keep and eye open for more details.

Lulworth Cove

18th - 21st May

The Group Spring weekend returns to Lulworth Cove. Contact Terry Blake for more details.

Harold Wood Car Show

16th June

The Group return to this show for a second year.

TR Register International

10th - 12th August 2012

The 2012 International returns to Malvern. Look out for more details.

Group tour of Normandy

2nd - 8th September 2012

Bookings now being taken for 7 nights in Normandy 2nd - 8th September 2012 incl. This years destination is Houlgate, Keycamp site reference NR014.

Prices are based on 2 or 3 bed mobile homes with decking. 2 bed accommodation £354.80, 3 bed accommodation £405 inclusive of Eurotunnel.

there is limited availability, so if you are interested contact Andy Dimbleby as soon as possible and if you have any accommodation type preference let him know. First come first served!

Houlgate is a familiar destination for some, but if you've never been it's ideal for visiting the many D Day beaches and museums. If you're not into WW2 there's plenty of other places of interest and great roads and no traffic.

Andy will need a £99 per couple non-refundable deposit payable to Essex Group TR Register to reserve a place.
