Essex Air Ambulance Photoshoot, June 2011

The Essex Air Ambulance is funded entirely by charitable donations and the Club collects funds and takes part in the lottery to support their work. We managed to arrange a photoshoot at their base and presented a cheque for over £1000 on behalf of the club. It costs between £1000 and £2000 each time the helicopter is scrambled so what we collect can make a real difference - literally a life saver!

We arived in a torrential rain storm and were worried that we might not be able to take any pictures but the sun came out briefly and we managed to get the shots you see below. Thanks to Bob and Jozina for organising it and to all at EAA for making us so welcome.

Similarly if you intend to go to The Harold Wood car show on the 16th June you need to e-mail John Pottinger so he can ensure we have enough space to be together.
