Battlesbridge, Essex. September 2007

This year we had 27 cars on display at the annual Battlesbridge show. The weather was great and the show was packed out

Although some of the group went over on Saturday, there was a lot of last minute work to be done on Sunday to get flags and banners up.

With so many cars expected there was a lot of manoeuvring needed to fit everyone in.

This year we segregated the side screen cars...

... from the later models

Last year's star of the show, the 4a rolling chassis, was back this year with the main bodywork in place.

The engine looks neat and tidy in the new engine bay and some of the other parts have been fitted. May be next year we will see the finished article.

This year Phil brought his rally car to the show...

...and how is this for an engine!!

By the time everyone had squeezed in, it was amazing that there was space for people to look at the cars!

But we had a steady stream of interested people of all ages, eager to find out a bit more about the cars. All in all a good day out.
