Each of the committee members gave a brief resume of what they had been involved in over the past year before opening up the debate on some key issues for the membership, including membership fees and the future of Essex Group News and the Calendar.

However, don't be deceived. There was a lively debate with members highlighting points that needed consideration and offering suggestions as to what could be done.
Oh, and by the way the buffet was worth the wait.
